 Verified The place was easy to find, cute and comfortable. What stood out was the attention to detail. These hosts have thought of everything and give clear directions and suggestions. Also, they have a half bath downstairs which was really nice. We had to contact them several times and they got right back to us. We had a very easy and enjoyable stay. Thank you!

 Verified Ginger & Jim’s was a perfect place to stay with my mom, sister and baby. When they learned my 1 year old would be with us, they proactively prepared the baby items and even added a gate on the stairs. Their house was as described, very clean, in a great location and a very comfortable stay for us for the week.

 Verified I grew up n Evanston, and I think 1500 Main is an excellent place to stay with a small family. Ginger and Jim have thought of everything! If you are a fan of Etown history, you will be happy. If you want to be close to Chicago and downtown, it’s a perfect location. If you love Dave’s Rock Shop (and you should), you are a short walk away. Best Air Bnb experience ever.

 Verified This was one of the best Airbnb we have stayed at - great location in Evanston, easy parking, and there is a lot of food / snacks and other items provided for you. Our family of 5 was comfortable - the oldest kid stayed on the sofabed in the living room which was fine for our stay. There are several bikes of various sizes in the basement and my daughter and I went out several times biking around Evanston. The book that Ginger and Jim put together is very helpful with local recommendations and fascinating history of the property. My son and I played basketball across the street a couple of times. Walked to the L to go into the city as well. Also you are right across from community center where anyone can drop in and ice skate, play pickleball, or run on the track.Also our kids are a bit older but there is a lot for kids here from step stools / cribs / toys in the basement and playground right across the street. Overall great stay and Ginger and Jim were wonderful hosts!

 Verified Visiting our daughter for her birthday and required designated parking and an outdoor seating… their place was nice with games and a fully stocked kitchen. There were snacks for weary travelers and refrigerated beverages as well. We love to cook in and felt right at home in the kitchen.. property was kept tidy, warm and accommodating. Bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. Will definitely book again! Highly recommend for families with small children.
